Sorley
De La Coul

Man of the moment Sorley debuts on Moon Harbour with another of his super fresh House sounds.

Those in the know at Defected and HE.SHE.THEY, as well as Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1, all tipped Sorley as one to watch in 2020 and he has more than backed that up in 2021. His tantalising bass riffs, distinct sampling and acute vocal hooks all make for a signature sound that cannot be ignored. That has played out with Number 1 tunes on Snatch Records, Nothing Else Matters and Repopulate Mars, and headline sets everywhere from BPM to Hideout Festival. Now he does it again for Moon Harbour.

The brilliantly bristling ‘De La Coul’ is a naughty house cut with sleazy, rasping bass. It swings low beneath stripped-back contemporary drums as dark vocals amp up the energy levels. During a tense breakdown, everything pulls back to just raw kits and kicks, then the dark bass drops once more and is sure to erupt the floor.

This is another big tune from on-form UK talent Sorley.
